Northwest and Northwest Airlink which offer these airfare discounts both operate over 1,500 daily flights to more than 750 destinations worldwide, 130 of which are non-stop flights between the United States and Asia.

Northwest’s frequent flyer program enables you to earn miles for flying with it, hotel stays, car rentals, dining, online shopping and more which you can redeem for future air travel on the airline’s flights and through its SkyTeam partner airlines. Customers accumulate the travel miles from actual flight segments they fly or through Northwest airline's partners, such as car rental companies, hotels, credit cards, and other vendors. Northwest airline provides even greater services for its cheap and affordable air tickets with its world class in-flight service which are handled by the airline’s friendly, helpful and experienced crew. Snacks are available to buy for $3 to $5. Food has to be sold because of the dirt cheap airfares already being offered. Passengers can bring on their food items to replace or supplement the ones offered on Northwest’s flights. Light meals like sandwiches can be pre-ordered online through the airline’s website during flight reservation but must be paid for on the plane. Unfortunately, Northwest airline does not permit changes to passenger name or flight.

All Northwest Airlines aircrafts are operated in a two-class configuration. On domestic flights, Northwest offers standard First and Economy Class cabins. Northwest airline’s last check-in is 30 minutes before its flights depart on domestic routes, with the exceptions of Atlanta, Denver, Newark, Tampa and Washington D.C-Dulles, which require 45 minutes and Las Vegas, which requires 60 minutes. For Northwest’s international flights, check-in is 60 minutes before scheduled departure. Boarding passes may be obtained in the same way the airline’s cheap e-tickets are purchased; that is through the airline’s website. Pre-assigned seating may also be arranged during flight reservation online. Baggage allowance on Northwest airlines is restricted to one piece of carry-on luggage allowed per person. Personal items such as laptops, books, handbags, etc are also allowed. Cabin seat luggage like anything too fragile or bulky to check-in can be carried alongside you on the plane for the price of a cheap adult airfare. For international flights originating in the United States, the baggage allowance is three pieces of luggage only. Pets can also travel accompanied on Northwest flights as checked luggage or carry-on luggage but you need to notify the airline at least 24 hours before travel if you wish to bring a pet with you.
