Because of SAS Airline’s cheap airfares, meal service is no longer included in the basic Economy Class. Instead, passengers will have the opportunity to buy a breakfast bag and a selection of cold beverages and coffee or tea on all morning flights. On later flights, sandwiches, snacks, hot and cold beverages, and alcoholic drinks will be available. SAS Airlines now charges for the drink service in Economy on intercontinental routes outside the meal services, non-alcoholic beverages will be served throughout the flight without extra charge.
